Estimados amigos: Un grupo de amigos de internet (Foro La Puntilla) hemos preparado esta iniciativa, e invitamos a todos a que se sumen a ella, que publiquen la comunicación en todos los sitios donde les parezca apropiado y que echen a volar energía y sentido de compromiso, para con el tema.
Nuestra idea es que se utilice esta carta solicitud no solo al Senado y Congreso de los EEUU sino tambien que sea adaptada a todos los países donde vivan cubanos. Es necesario sensibilizar al mundo entero por la situación que sufren nuestros hermanos en Cuba. En este caso el justo y simple reclamo de Guillermo Fariñas Hernández y Noelia Pedraza Jiménez por sus derechos civiles.
Solicitamos de ustedes el envió de esta carta a Senadores, Congresistas, Presidentes, Reyes, Primeros Ministros de sus países respectivo ajustándola a sus propias necesidades.
Así mismo que reenvíen este mensaje entre sus amistades, llenemos los buzones electrónicos de todos los gobiernos con este reclamo!

Dear friends: A group of Internet friends (Foro La Puntilla) have prepared this letter, and we invite everyone to publish the communication in all the sites where it seems to them appropriate and with a sense of urgency and committment towards the subject. Our idea is that although this letter is originally for use in the U.S.A., it can be easily adapted to all the countries where Cubans live.
It is urgent that the world is sensitized to the plight of our our fellow Cubans, Guillermo Fariñas Hernandez and Noelia Pedraza Jiménez, both weakened and in grave condition from their respective hunger strikes for civil rights.
They ask that Cubans and their supporters around the world adapt the letter and send it to your Senators, Congressmen, Presidents, Kings, Prime Ministers as appropriate to your location. Let's fill the mailboxes of all the governments with this declaration! Here is the message prepared in both Spanish and English.

Respetuosamente nos dirigimos a ustedes en estos momentos en los cuales dos opositores pacíficos en Cuba, Guillermo Fariñas Hernández y Noelia Pedraza Jiménez se encuentran hospitalizados en estado crítico, producto de prolongadas huelgas de hambre y sed ante las continuas violaciones a sus derechos humanos, así como a la propia dignidad e integridad física.
No es nuestro interés hacer de esta comunicación una larga exposición política. Razones sobran y son conocidas por todos. Queremos denunciar las violaciones a los más sagrados derechos del hombre, que no pueden tener partidos, ni colores, ni inclinaciones políticas o de ningún otro tipo. Son consideraciones morales y humanas, valores que están por encima de cualquier discurso partidista, o religioso, o simpatías personales.
Solicitamos que estos casos sean conocidos, denunciados y repudiados abiertamente en el Congreso de los Estados Unidos, a fin de que también se conozcan y difundan internacionalmente, para que el resto de los gobiernos y cámaras legislativas de los países democráticos en el mundo, se sumen también al empeño de denunciar y repudiar esas violaciones flagrantes que están poniendo en peligro inminente de muerte a seres inocentes,que no han cometido delito alguno, salvo disentir pacíficamente y exigir cívicamente que se respeten sus derechos y los de sus conciudadanos.
Apelamos a ustedes, Honorables Senadores o congresistas, comprometidos con los principios y el legado de los Padres de la Nación, para salvar la vida de estos sacrificados defensores de los derechos humanos.

Dear Honorable Senator or Congressman/woman
I write you this letter respectfully because are worried about the health of two Cubans peaceful dissidents Guillermo Fariñas and Noelia Pedraza.They are hospitalized and in critical condition, due to the prolonged hunger strike in order to protesting again the continuous violations of their dignity, physical integrity and human rights in Cuba ,where Castro's regime doesn't respect it.
It’s not in my interest to make this a long political exposition. There are enough reasons to denounce the violations. I want to denounce the violations to the most sacred human rights, not being allowed any political party, color or inclination of different from the official regime’s line. These are above any partisan speech, religious or personal sympathies.
I request that these cases be known, denounced and openly repudiated by the United States Congress, and that also they be exposed internationally, that way the rest of the world’s democratic governments and legislative chambers join in denouncing and rejecting this blatant violations that are exposing the lives of peaceful people whose only crime has been to demand that their rights and that of their fellow citizens are respected.
I appeal and urge to you, Honorable Senator or congressman to act in this matter, honoring the legacy of the founder fathers of this nation to help save the life of this defenders of the fundamental human rights.
